Tabers was founded in 1941 as a small vegetable stand on the shores of Lake Auburn.
Since then it has blossomed into a Restaurant, Miniature Golf, Driving Range, and Ice Cream stand that is a social mecca during the summer months in the city of Auburn. 

Many picnic tables, grassy areas, and beautiful views of the lake make Tabers a great place to spend an afternoon.
Every Monday and Wednesday in July and August is "Class Night", where local high school classes gather to socialize and see old friends.

We also have a flashback Sock Hop the first Saturday of August when we roll back prices and turn the parking lot into a dance floor to dance the night away to music from the 50's and 60's provided by Music Reflections.  

Our menu offers everything from burgers and hotdogs to homemade chicken, lobster, and tuna rolls.
The onion rings and pepperstrips are the highlight of the menu, both dipped in a homemade batter recipe that has been passed down from the Taber family.
On the healthy side, we offer chef salads, side salads, wheat bread, veggiewiches, and gardenburgers.
Our Ice Cream stand offers 23 flavors of hard serve ice cream including Maine blueberry, fenway fudge, cotton candy, and cherry vanilla.

Tabers is the perfect place for birthday parties, class reunions, rehearsal dinners or corporate parties and group rates are available.
